The Matrix Awakens, a free cinematic demonstration powered by Unreal Engine 5, was officially announced. Information about it first appeared on December 2 – the title was discovered in the PlayStation Network database.
A short video shows the face of Keanu Reeves, who asks, “How do we know what is reality?” Apparently, this is a 3D model based on the actor. The video description promises “a vivid journey into the reality-breaking Matrix universe with Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss.” In addition, under the video there is also information about the start of the preloading of the application on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
The Matrix Awakens will launch during The Game Awards 2021 on the night of December 9-10. The release of the film “The Matrix: Resurrection” will take place on December 16.
