The head coach of “Washington” commented on the exit of Ovechkin to a clean fourth place in the list of NHL snipers in the history

Washington Capitals head coach Peter Laviolette spoke about the achievement of team captain Alexander Ovechkin. The Russian forward distinguished himself in the match with the Columbus Blue Jackets (4: 3). Now the striker has 742 goals in his overseas career, Alexander came out on a clean fourth place in the list of the best NHL snipers in history.

Wayne Gretzky holds the record for goals in the NHL (894), followed by Gordy Howe (801) and Jaromir Jagr (766).
