Nick Offerman (“Parks and Recreation Areas”, “We are the Millers”) will play one of the roles in the adaptation of the video game The Last of Us. Actor Murray Bartlett announced this in an interview with The Guardian.
It is not known who Offerman will play, but he will have many scenes in common with Bartlett. The latter will play the role of Frank, Bill's partner. Bill himself will be portrayed by Con O'Neill.
The adaptation of The Last of Us will retell the plot of the first game, but in some moments it will be very different from the original. Filming began on July 5 and will run until June 8, 2022. The first episode was filmed at the end of August, directed by Kantemir Balagov (Dylda, Tightness) and cameraman Ksenia Sereda (Dylda, Happy End).
