Tsitsipas lost to Rublev in the ATP Final tournament, playing with injury

Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas spoke about the injury that caused him to withdraw from the ATP Final Tournament.

On Wednesday it became known that Tsitsipas will not be able to continue his performance at the Final Tournament in Turin due to an elbow injury. Russian Andrei Rublev on November 16 beat the Greek in the opening match of the competition – 6: 4, 6: 4.

– I had to make this really difficult decision – to withdraw from the tournament. The elbow injury bothered me for several weeks. A difficult decision, because this year I worked hard and hard to get here. But, alas, I cannot continue, – said Tsitsipas, whose words are quoted on the official website of the tournament.
