“A goal in the minority can give the team an impetus” – Kuznetsov

Washington forward Evgeny Kuznetsov shared his impressions after the NHL regular season match against Florida (4: 3).

Kuznetsov in the match against Florida became the author of an assistant hat-trick, and team captain Alexander Ovechkin scored three goals. Washington scored the first outnumbered goal.

– I am sure that a goal scored in the minority can give the team the necessary impetus. We must run to the attack if we have the opportunity, – said Kuznetsov.

The 36-year-old Ovechkin has 36 points (18 + 18) in 21 regular season games. In total, Ovechkin has scored 748 goals in his NHL career, 18 goals behind Jaromir Jagr, who is ranked third in the league's best snipers list of all time.
