Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev in an exclusive interview with Match TV spoke about the results of the VTB Kremlin Cup and expectations from the St. Petersburg Open tournament.
– As for the Kremlin Cup, the first match, home, excitement, I really want to win. Everything was fine – 7: 5, 6: 5, matchball, but in the end there was again some small detail. When you are in shape, you feel powerful, you have strength, when you take out a heavy ball, you keep the balance of your body. You feel like you see the court differently. And when you lose your shape, then the ball is a meter away from you, and you are already lost.
The goal in itself at the tournament in St. Petersburg is to give all the best. Try to feel more for the game, try to do some things, try to play more freely, more aggressively, '' said Rublev.
