RocketWerkz Studios, founded by DayZ creator Dean Hall, has released a 22-minute film based on the upcoming game Icarus. The video was posted on YouTube.
The short film Icarus: Fatal Sky is stylized as an investigative documentary. The tape reveals the lore of Icarus through the story of one of the unsuccessful landings on the dangerous planet Icarus, where the events of the game take place, and interviews with the participants in the events.
Icarus is a session-based PvE survival simulator. Players will need to land on the planet Icarus, which has suffered from a failed terraforming. For a limited time, gamers need to get valuable resources and return to orbit in order to pump and poison again for supplies. The release is scheduled for December 3, the game will be released on Steam.
