A group of Final Fantasy XIV players have released an anime-style intro for the game. The video was posted on YouTube.
The fans not only edited the opening song, but also recorded a new musical theme. It is based on the original soundtrack of the game, and the lyrics were invented by gamers. Final Fantasy XIV's sound director Masayoshi Soken praised the musicians' work, calling the song “passionate” and “amazing.”
Earlier it was reported that PlatinumGames has added gear and emotes from Final Fantasy XIV to the upcoming co-op action Babylon's Fall. The MMORPG authors themselves suggested using their assets to make it easier for colleagues to work.
