Islanders beat Vegas dry, Sorokin with 42 saves was recognized as the first star of the match

The second clean sheet of Russian New York Islanders goalkeeper Ilya Sorokin of the season helped his team beat Vegas in the NHL regular season.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper saved all 42 shots at his goal and was named the first star of the match.

Josh Bailey and Matthew Barzal scored goals for the Islanders. As part of “Vegas” in the match was attended by Russians Daniil Miromanov and Evgeny Dadonov.

The Islanders are 7th in the Eastern Conference with 7 points, Vegas have suffered their 4th consecutive loss and 14th in the West.
