Pittsburgh's Russian forward Yevgeny Malkin will miss at least the first two months of the new NHL season.
This was announced by journalist Elliot Friedman, citing Pittsburgh general manager Ron Hextall.

Recall, on June 5, 35-year-old Malkin underwent surgery on his right knee.
In the last season of the NHL regular season, the Russian scored 28 (8 + 20) points in 33 matches and 5 (1 + 4) points in four playoff games.
