Launched several months ago, the ASSE sales process is taking shape as two projects stand out and seem to be favored by Roland Romeyer and Bernard Caïazzo.

After the failure of the projects led by Olivier Markarian and Jean-Michel Roussier , Roland Romeyer and Bernard Caïazzo , however, have not given up on the idea of selling ASSE . Quite the contrary, even since several other wealthy candidates have positioned themselves. Recently, L'Equipe drew up the list of the new projects in the running which are four in number with more or less chance of success. These are the American investment funds 777 Partners and Terrapin Partners , the Russian project led by Total Sport Investment as well as the local project led by Serge Bueno, who runs Smart Good Things , a company already a sponsor of ASSE < /strong>.

The Russian project and the local project are the favorites

And this Wednesday, RMC Sport takes stock again on the sale of the ASSE first revealing the withdrawal of 777 Partners . One less candidate for the ASSE , but the American fund was not the preferred option by the shareholders of the club. Indeed, the two most advanced projects are those of Total Sport Investment , supported by the Russian billionaire Sergeï Lomakin , as well as the local project proposed by Serge Bueno and his company Smart Good Things . In order to propose a more solid case, he could even join forces with Olivier Markarian . It remains to be seen whether one of these two projects will succeed.
