The heavy defeat of ASSE against Rennes this Sunday (0-5) will have been too much for Claude Puel . In the hot seat for several months because of the poor results of his team, the technician from Saint-Etienne was laid off this Sunday afternoon by the Greens. As indicated by RMC Sport, but also by Progress, Claude Puel received his letter before an interview prior to dismissal. L 'ASSE will therefore be led by a new technician next Saturday against Reims in the league. According to information from Progress, the leaders of ASSE are looking for the replacement of Claude Puel and have checked the names of two technicians. The regional daily first mentioned the name of David Guion , free since leaving Stade de Reims at the end of last season. Pascal Dupraz would also be highly regarded within ASSE. Guion and Dupraz would currently be on pole to replace Claude Puel. It remains to be seen who will choose Roland Romeyer and Bernard Caïazzo .
