At the end of the contract on June 30, Sergi Roberto is heading straight for a free start for FC Barcelona for now. Still, a deal was not far off lately for an extension of his contract, but negotiations finally collapsed at the last moment due to a disagreement over his salary issue. Only here, despite this big setback, it would not be ruled out that the negotiations start again soon. Indeed, Matteo Moretto indicates on his Twitter account this Thursday that it is possible that the contacts between the agents of Sergi Roberto and the FC Barcelona resume during the month of November. For now, no meeting is really scheduled, but that could very soon change. It remains to be seen whether an agreement can be reached this time between the player trained at Barça and the management chaired by Joan Laporta in order to avoid a free start at the end of the season.
