While FC Barcelona would pinch Jérémy Doku, we should not especially count on a will of the Belgian to leave Stade Rennais for the moment.
Removed from the lawns since August due to an injury, Jérémy Doku still retains a good rating on the market for transfers. Moreover, FC Barcelona would keep a watchful eye on its return to competition with Stade Rennais , seeming to particularly appreciate his profile. Nonetheless, the father of the 19-year-old Belgium international has expressed serious doubts about the club’s ability to handle such an operation during an interview with Het Laatste Nieuws. “It doesn't seem right to me. I don't think Barcelona are in a position to spend large sums on transfers right now. There are a lot of other clubs that want Jérémy, even though I'm not allowed to talk about it ”.
“I don't think he wants to move yet”
After throwing a big chill on a possible arrival of Jérémy Doku at FC Barcelona , the father of the Belgian winger has also indicated that a departure from Stade Rennais was not necessarily taken into consideration for the moment by Doku . “He can say, 'Let's wait and see.' I don't think he wants to move yet, but in football everything can change quickly. It depends on which team is interested ”.
