As FC Barcelona continue to show their optimism about the possible extension of Ousmane Dembélé's contract, next summer could spell the end of the Dembélé adventure at Barca.

Whether it's Joan Laporta , Xavi Hernandez or even Dani Alves , the president, the coach and the new recruit of FC Barcelona all had their say on the situation of Ousmane Dembélé . While the tricolor world champion is under contract until next June at Barça, the three men underlined how important Dembélé is in the project of the club culé. However, negotiations between the Ousmane Dembélé clan and FC Barcelona would not seem to lead to anything as it is. And it could well lead to a free departure from any contract of Dembélé at the end of the season.

Dembélé would have one foot outside

At least that is what we should take away from the SPORT information. The Catalan daily has revealed in recent hours, that due to the offer deemed too low financially by Ousmane Dembélé and his entourage, the player would now have already a foot and a half outside the Catalan institution. For the Dembélé clan, which would seek a lucrative way out, to agree to review its position, Barça would have to make a commercial gesture in terms of the player's salary and for the commission of the agents.
