This season, Samuel Umtiti has not played a single match with FC Barcelona . The departure of Ronald Koeman and the arrival of Xavi did not change anything for the French world champion, who clearly seems to have become persona non grata in Catalonia. In recent days, a whole new option has started to emerge for him, as the Italian press has reported an interest from AC Milan . With the serious injury of Simon Kjaer, the Rossoneri are said to be looking for a central defender and could therefore turn to Umtiti. This Saturday, Tuttosport confirms that the name of Samuel Umtiti would indeed circulate in Milan, with the approach of the winter transfer window. The FC Barcelona player would however be far from a priority! The Italian daily explains that AC Milan is currently working on other files, such as the return of loan from Mattia Caldara, but also the arrival of Malang Sarr, who cannot find a place in Chelsea of Thomas Tuchel.
