FC Barcelona have managed to convince Ansu Fati to extend his contract until June 2027, in the knowledge of far more financially significant offers that the Spaniard has reportedly received from other clubs. Lack of financial means necessary to renew the contract of Lionel Messi , FC Barcelona was forced to let slip the six-fold Golden Ball to PSG and find common ground with Barca executives for pay cuts. In order not to see the one who inherited his number 10 leave the club at the end of the season, FC Barcelona made a financial effort at the level of the contract extension of Ansu Fati who has signed with Barça until June 2027 in recent hours. However, Fati could have made a completely different choice. According to Cadena SER, Ansu Fati was approached by different clubs lately and before he made the decision to continue at FC Barcelona. Indeed, the clubs in question have offered him a salary of up to 30M € gross per year. Wishing to succeed within his training club, Ansu Fati rejected the said offers to succeed Lionel Messi at Barça.
