Having been unable to extend with FC Barcelona , Lionel Messi has taken over the management of PSG . Disembarking at a new club, however, the Argentine has not arrived in uncharted waters. In Paris , Messi found some of his closest friends like Neymar, Leandro Paredes or even Angel Di Maria . While the two Argentines were already playing together in the national team, here they are again club partners. But Messi could well have decided otherwise a few months ago…

If Angel Di Maria is today happy to play with Lionel Messi at PSG , they could very well have found themselves at FC Barcelona . Indeed, during an interview with TNT Sport, El Fideo revealed to have been close to joining the Blaugrana to evolve with Messi : “I was very close to going to Barcelona , if I went there it was only to play with him.
