Barça could thus decide not to keep the Austrian. All does not go as planned for Yusuf Demir at FC Barcelona. At 18, the Austrian was announced as a nugget after his good performances with Rapid Vienna , his training club. Thus, during the last transfer window, Barça had secured the winger's services in the form of a paying loan of € 500,000, with a purchase option of € 10m. However, Yusuf Demir plays little under the orders of Ronald Koeman , and the young Austrian international (4 caps) does not seem to fit into the plans of the Blaugrana coach . According to information from the Catalan daily Sport, Ronald Koeman would be disappointed with the performance of Yusuf Demir . The Austrian had his chance in the pre-season, in particular thanks to the numerous absences in the attacking sector of Barça . However, in an official match, the 18-year-old winger has played very little, with only 5 small appearances in the club jersey this season. Barcelona leaders are therefore skeptical about exercising the € 10 million purchase option of Yusuf Demir at the end of his loan.
