While FC Barcelona have been announced in the footsteps of Cedric Bakambú, this track would not be a new idea for the Catalan team.

But AS does not stop there and says that the track Cedric Bakambú is far from being new for FC Barcelona . Indeed, the Spanish daily claims that Barça were already interested in the prospect of securing their services this summer. Only then, the Beijing Sinobo Guoan had shown itself to be far too greedy. The situation will be different this winter insofar as the former Villarreal CF striker will come to the end of his contract on January 1 and will therefore be able to arrive freely, something which would lead FC Barcelona to consider that the operation is quite feasible. In addition, AS explains that Barça also tried to recruit Cedric Bakambú during the 2019/2020 season. It remains to be seen if this third attempt will be the right one…
