A Barcelona delegation flew to Qatar on Wednesday to meet Al Sadd leaders and negotiate an exit voucher for the former midfielder. However, the discussions do not seem to have really started on the right foot, since the latest indiscretions evoke a firm position of Al Sadd , who absolutely does not seem to want to let Xavi go to FC Barcelona < /strong>. A new meeting should take place this Thursday and Xavi seems to want to play a central role. According to SPORT information, the 41-year-old technician has asked FC Barcelona to let him negotiate directly with the leaders of Al Sadd , but especially with the owner of the club! He would indeed maintain very good relations with Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani and would therefore have asked Rafa Yuste and Mateu Alemany to sit aside for now.
