While the name of Antonio Conte had been put forward to take over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Manchester United have decided to rule out this track.

After his stint at Chelsea between 2016 and 2018, Antonio Conte will not make his return to the Premier League anytime soon. At the very least, it won't be at Manchester United if the information from Sky Sports is to be believed. Indeed, while he was announced as one of the targets of the Red Devils, the management of the English club have ruled out as they want a technician with a different profile. For his part, the former Inter manager is said to be in no rush to get back to work and is keen to take his time to consider the proposals next summer. It remains to be seen who will be chosen to take over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer if Manchester United decides to part ways with him in the coming days.
