While Jorge Sampaoli announced on Friday that he would wait for the arrival of confirmed players in his squad, what in your opinion should be the top priority for OM this winter ?

After a very lively transfer window last summer, marked in particular by the arrivals of William Saliba , Mattéo Guendouzi and Cengiz Ünder , OM have had a mixed start to the season. If the Jorge Sampaoli team had a very attractive face until September, the OM has been skating ever since, with just two wins in his last ten matches in all competitions for six draws and two losses. This does not prevent the Marseille club from pointing to 4th place in the standings with 23 points before the 14th day of League 1 , to a unit of RC Lens , runner-up to PSG . Aware of the shortcomings of his team, Jorge Sampaoli expects new blood during the next winter transfer window, but it will be complicated.

What priority for OM?

Present at a press conference this Friday before the clash between OM and OL , Jorge Sampaoli sent a clear message to the bosses of the Marseille team. “We ask Pablo (Longoria) and Frank (McCourt) to bring in confirmed players. We don't have these players yet, I fight every day for them to understand our needs. Sometimes it is possible, sometimes not. It’s not always the president’s fault, we also have an owner who decides, ”said the Argentine. The eleven reinforcements buckled by the OM this summer are therefore not enough for Sampaoli , but Pablo Longoria will not be able to act freely on the transfers. The DNCG indeed confirmed this Friday the supervision of the wage bill and transfer allowances of the OM . Executives are therefore going to have to make some choices in order to be able to register the arrival of at least one player in January.

So what do you think should be the OM winter priority? To your votes!
