Since this summer, the future of Kylian Mbappé is a hotly debated topic and in recent weeks a departure seemed to have become inevitable. Indeed, Paris Saint-Germain does not seem to have succeeded in changing the mind of its star, who would always look towards Real Madrid , where Florentino Pérez is ready to roll out the red carpet for him. Worse, from January 1, Mbappé will be able to legally negotiate with the Madrilenians, quickly find an agreement … and therefore escape the PSG. A recent event could however offer a respite to Paris Saint-Germain. The team pointed out this Tuesday that the draw for the knockout stages of the Champions League could keep Kylian Mbappé away from Real Madrid for at least a few more months. According to daily reports, it does indeed seem unlikely that Mbappé will open negotiations with the people of Madrid before the end of their confrontation. As a reminder, the first leg will take place on February 15 at the Parc des Princes, with a return to Madrid scheduled for March 9.
