Apart from a small appearance in the Champions Trophy against LOSC on August 1 (defeat 1-0), Layvin Kurzawa (29 years old) did not played any official match with PSG this season. Barred by the recruitment of Nuno Mendes during the summer transfer window and the return from injury of Juan Bernat, the former Monegasque finds himself at an impasse, although he had been extended by PSG until 2024 just over a year ago. And as such, Kurzawa seems determined to make Leonardo pay his extension…

“Whoever made me extend will go before me”

L'Equipe reveals in its columns of the day that even if it had several proposals during the last summer transfer window and in particular from the OL , Layvin Kurzawa had made it clear that he would not leave PSG under these conditions: “The one who made me extend will leave before me”, would have even released internally the left side of PSG , therefore explicitly targeting Leonardo who was at the origin of his extension in June 2020. In the meantime, Kurzawa finds himself placarded with no future prospect at the Parc des Princes, as PSG recently reminded him. Case to be continued …
