Not having finally left this summer, Sergio Rico could take advantage of the winter transfer window to look elsewhere. But that wouldn't jostle much for the Spanish doorman.
This summer, the PSG went to look for Gianluigi Donnarumma and inevitably, this has redistributed the cards within the hierarchy of goalkeepers. If the Italian and Keylor Navas now share the role of number 1, Sergio Rico has lost everything. Today the Spaniard is number 3 and obviously the situation is not easy to live with on a daily basis. While Rico tried to walk away during the summer, it did not materialize. So what is in store for him in January?
“Currently, I have no offers”
This Thursday, Sergio Rico confided in Mundo Deportivo. Referring to his personal situation at PSG , the goalkeeper of Mauricio Pochettino said more about his future, explaining then: “I tried to leave this summer, but it didn’t could not be possible. We have to come to an agreement with PSG. Currently, I have no offers. It is still early and leaving now in the middle of the season seems complicated because the roster is full ”.
