While his parents were the victims of a burglary last season, Marquinhos says that this difficult event is absolutely not able to make him regret his coming to PSG.
Present at PSG since 2013, Marquinhos has gradually established himself as one of the executives of the capital club before becoming its captain after the summer of 2020 and the departure of Thiago Silva at the end of his contract. But when it happens to your parents, people you love more than anything … It's hard! Even more so when they are physically assaulted. But it requires to be even more attentive. This is the kind of thing we prepare for more in Brazil, where we are safe. I was less expecting it to happen here. But that doesn't change my love for Paris. Nothing will make me regret having come to Paris ”, confided Marquinhos in an interview with the Parisian.
