In constant pursuit of a big reinforcement as defensive midfielder since the retirement of Thiago Motta, PSG have given it a go with N’Golo Kanté. In vain.

In the summer of 2018, Thiago Motta bowed out, leaving PSG orphaned as defensive midfielder. Since then, Qatar has attempted several blows to try to ensure the succession of the Italian midfielder ( Lassana Diarra, Leandro Paredes, Idrissa Gueye, Danilo Pereira …), but none of these elements did not succeed in forgetting Motta in the midfield of PSG .
