Under contract until June 2023 with Paris Saint-Germain, Leandro Paredes does not seem to fit into Mauricio Pochettino's plans.

After completing several major arrivals this summer, Leonardo seems determined to downsize the workforce available to Mauricio Pochettino. Several names have been mentioned these last days and in particular that of Leandro Paredes, not really successful this season with Paris Saint-Germain. The Argentinian has played only seven matches in all competitions with PSG and to believe the latest indiscretions of Foot Mercato, he would be on one of the candidates at the start … a version totally denied by the Argentinian media. TyC Spots has indeed revealed that PSG have formulated an extension offer for Paredes, whose contract ends in a year and a half.

Paredes agents look elsewhere

According to information from Daniele Longo , Leandro Paredes would not really lean for an extension with the Paris Saint-Germain for the moment. On CM.com, he announces that his entourage is in the process of combing the market in order to find an opportunity allowing him to relaunch his career. It remains to be seen which club will be willing to take charge of its fairly large salary, since Paredes earns nearly 5M € per year.
