As the winter transfer window is fast approaching, Carlo Ancelotti would like to get rid of several unwanted elements of his workforce. With this in mind, Gareth Bale, Isco, Eden Hazard, Marcelo, Mariano Diaz and Luka Jovic could be pushed towards the exit in January by the coach of Real Madrid.

Heavily affected by the crisis linked to the coronavirus, the Real Madrid has been discreet during the last transfer windows. Indeed, the merengue club has managed to part with some unwanted elements, but has not really strengthened, or at least very little. During the last summer transfer window, for example, Real Madrid of Carlo Ancelotti let Sergio Ramos go freely and for free to PSG, Raphaël Varane to Manchester United (transfer around 40M €), Martin Odegaard on the side of Arsenal (sold for around 35M €) and other players on loan (Takefusa Kubo, Alvaro Odriozola. ..). Regarding arrivals, the White House was content to recruit David Alaba freely and for free and to complete the signature of Eduardo Camavinga with a check for nearly 31M €. Despite everything, Carlo Ancelotti would still have a group that is too large and would like to downsize it in January.

Gareth Bale and Isco pushed to release in January?

According to Marca's information, Carlo Ancelotti and his staff believe that it would be beneficial for Real Madrid to reduce its workforce during the winter transfer window. While he would have several unwanted people, the Merengue coach would like to carry out a downsizing operation in January to approach the second part of the season more calmly and why not afford one or two recruits, even if this option would be on “standby” for the moment. With this in mind, Carlo Ancelotti has already identified the players they would like to see leave, or at least that he would gladly let go. As specified by the Spanish media, six players would be affected by this great winter cleaning of Real Madrid : Gareth Bale, Isco, Marcelo, Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard.

Ancelotti will listen to offers for Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard

While they would not count on Gareth Bale and Isco, Carlo Ancelotti would judge their departure to be positive for his team. However, his wish would be unlikely to be granted this winter. Both at the end of their contract on June 30, Gareth Bale and Isco reportedly showed no sign that they had changed their minds and were now ready to go in January. Also free on July 1, Marcelo is the captain of Real Madrid. Thus, merengue management should respect whatever decision they make. For their part, Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard would seem to have reversed the trend with Carlo Ancelotti. Despite everything, the coach of Real Madrid should still listen to potential offers.
