At the end of his contract on June 30 with Real Madrid, Karim Benzema would be willing to extend with his club. However, he would demand that Erling Haaland not be recruited to initial a new lease.

Arrived from OL in the summer of 2009, Karim Benzema has made Real Madrid much happy since almost seven and a half years. And while he is still engaged until June 30, 2023, the French striker can still serve the club merengue for a season and a half. Moreover, Karim Benzema could even be useful for a longer period. As El Nacional reported, the Real Madrid and Karim Benzema would like to find an agreement to extend their adventure together. However, the French international would have a colossal requirement to initial a new lease with the White House.

Benzema threatens not to extend if Halaland arrives

According to El Nacional, Karim Benzema would like to sign a contract worthy of of his determination with Real Madrid. In addition, the number 9 merengue would have issued a huge ultimatum to Florentino Pérez to get back on track. Indeed, Karim Benzema would demand that its president not recruit Erling Haaland. Aware that the Norwegian could steal his place as holder, the former OL would categorically refuse to see such a scenario happen. It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid will agree to draw a line on Erling Haaland in order to be able to extend Karim Benzema.
