Having failed to find an agreement with Real Madrid to extend, Sergio Ramos has therefore left free. A mistake by Florentino Pérez?
While it was thought that Sergio Ramos would end his career with Real Madrid , things did not go as planned. For many months, Florentino Pérez and the Spaniard discussed the terms of a possible extension. However, at no point did the two clans come to an agreement. The situation was then impossible to resolve and Ramos ended up leaving free and he has since signed with PSG .
“Real Madrid lost their personality without Ramos”
To compensate for the departure of Sergio Ramos , the Real Madrid saw David Alaba disembark from Bayern Munich . But for Lothar Matthäus , the Austrian is not the Spaniard. Besides, the departure of Ramos obviously had big consequences in the eyes of the German as he told Vamos: “Real Madrid have lost their personality without Ramos. Alaba is a great player, but he doesn't have that personality. He is not a leader like Ramos ”.
