Former Rangers goalkeeper Mike Richter shared his impressions of the performance of Russian goalkeeper Igor Shesterkin with the team from New York.
– He's a great goalkeeper. The only thing he lacks is experience. One of the best goalkeeping coaches in the NHL works with him. Great results are expected from Shesterkin and he meets all expectations, – said Richter.
Shesterkin is 25 years old, in total he has 50 games in the NHL, in which he won 28 victories.
This season, the Russian goalkeeper took part in three matches of the regular season.
