Game Director of The Last of Us Dilogy Neil Druckmann has finished filming an episode of the series based on the game The Last of Us . He praised the production team and said he was delighted to be back in California.
Neil Druckmann:

The adaptation of The Last of Us will retell the plot of the first game, but in some moments it will be very different from the original source. Filming began on July 5 and will run until June 8, 2022.
The first episode of The Last of Us series was filmed at the end of August, directed by Kantemir Balagov (Dylda, Tightness) and cameraman Ksenia Sereda (Dylda, Happy End). It is not known which episode Druckmann filmed, but Sereda was also the cameraman.
