The updated rating of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has been published.
Representative of Poland Iga Szventek, who reached the semifinals of the tournament in Ostrava last week, became the fourth racket of the world for the first time. Maria Sakkari from Greece in this tournament lost in the final to Estonian Anette Kontaveit and entered the top 10 of the ranking.
Russian Ekaterina Aleksandrova moved up two lines and became 32nd, and Anastasia Potapova improved the result by 12 positions (80).
Australian Ashley Barty remains the leader of the rating, and the best of Russians, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova – in 13th place.
