World of Warcraft fans have announced the cancellation of orders for the Official Collectible Lich King Statue. The souvenir is sold in the official Blizzard Gear Store for € 1.3 thousand (₽106 thousand).
Gamers who purchased the statuette did not receive a cancellation notice. They found out that the souvenir was not sent only thanks to the return of funds to the card with which the purchase was made.
Probably, the cancellations of orders occurred due to increased demand and a shortage of goods. Users who received the Lich King statuette nevertheless noted that the boxes were numbered and, judging by the numbers, 250 items were created. At the same time, at the time of publication of the material, the collection souvenir can still be ordered: the closest date of receipt of the goods is January 29, 2022. The official Blizzard Gear Store is owned by Fanatics, and buyers note that this is not the first time that Fanatics has defaulted.
The Lich King collectible figurine was released to celebrate Blizzard's 30th anniversary. The height of the figure from the base to the top of the helmet is 66 cm, and it weighs almost 21 kg.
