Kazbek Karatsev, the father of Russian tennis player Aslan Karatsev, shared his expectations of the VTB Kremlin Cup semifinals with compatriot Karen Khachanov.
– I would like Aslan to play well today without worries. He usually worries. He must fight with Khachanov. We look forward to a fight. Khachanov has good serves: he made 19 aces yesterday. It will be difficult with him.
– Is Aslan worried before the semifinals?
– During tournaments, Aslan tries not to communicate with anyone, including me. We talked to him for the last time the day before yesterday. After he plays, he calls and tells how it went. We don't talk before games. This is a psychological moment, it is tuned.
