Blizzard Replaces “Blacklisting” In World Of Warcraft Code With Racially Neutral

Blizzard Entertainment has dropped the Blacklist wording in World of Warcraft's code. The change was noticed by a reddit user under the nickname DutchChair.

The developers changed the wording from Blacklisted to Blocklisted in all variables, keeping their functions. According to the Noob Club portal, the update was introduced on the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands test server build 9.1.5.

Earlier, users noticed that in the same patch, Blizzard Entertainment replaced two paintings. One of them depicted a girl in underwear, and the second – a character in a dress with a revealing neckline.
