The Italian men's volleyball team defeated Germany in the European Championship quarterfinals.
The meeting ended with a score of 3: 0 (25:13, 25:18, 25:19).
In the semifinals, the Italians will meet with the representatives of Serbia.
The Slovenian team also reached the ½ final of the tournament, beating the Czech national team (25:21, 25:19, 27:25). Slovenes will have to meet with Poland.
Both semifinal meetings will take place on September 18th.
The European Championship takes place in the cities of Poland, the Czech Republic, Estonia and Finland and will end on September 19. The current European champion is the Serbian team.
