While the sale process of ASSE is underway, the LFP could relaunch everything thanks to the creation of a sales channel that could bring in 60M € to Forez club.
Launched several months ago, the ASSE sale process is reaching its goal. And for good reason, KPMG , the audit firm mandated to scrutinize all the applications, will present the offers deemed serious and credible to Roland Romeyer and Bernard Caïazzo next Tuesday. The two current owners of the Forez club will then decide whether they accept one of them or not. But new information could revive this file.
ASSE could touch 60M € thanks to the LFP
Indeed, in order to compensate for the enormous losses suffered by the League clubs 1 during the Covid crisis and the end of the Championship, the LFP will create a commercial sector that it will own at 80% and which should make it possible to raise 1.5 billion euros which will be donated to professional clubs. And according to Peuple-Vert, ASSE could recover almost € 60 million in this affair. Enough to relaunch the sale of the club? The answer will be known shortly.
