Hailed as a potential successor to Ronald Koeman and Joan Laporta’s priority for the coaching post, Xavi Hernandez would dream of the Dutch technician’s post, according to his player Santi Cazorla at Al-Sadd.
Despite incessant rumors about the dismissal of Ronald Koeman at the very end of September, Joan Laporta has finally made the choice to keep the Dutch technician whose contract will expire at the end of the season. By choosing not to part with Koeman during the year, the president of FC Barcelona avoids paying him compensation and having to find a successor in disaster.
