Paris Saint-Germain is preparing for any eventuality for Kylian Mbappé, whose contract ends next June and who does not seem really determined to extend.

A few weeks before the fateful date of January 1, Kylian Mbappé is more than ever a central issue at Paris Saint-Germain. From the first day of the year 2022, the French striker will indeed be able to negotiate with the club of his choice and Real Madrid seems to be in the starting blocks, ready to jump at the slightest opportunity. . In the meantime, Mbappé has become the object of all envy, from Paris to Madrid. “We talk about everything, but I don't need to tell him about Madrid,” explained Karim Benzema , his France team-mate, in a recent interview with Canal +. “Everyone, all players would love to play for Real Madrid”. At PSG, we also started a major campaign to convince Mbappé to extend his contract, notably with the exit of Marquinhos on the sidelines of victory over RB Leipzig in the Champions League (3 -2). “It's great to have a player like that” declared the captain of PSG on Tuesday, at the microphone of RMC Sport. “He is a very important player in the team”. For the moment, Mbappé still seems to hesitate … seven months from the end of his contract with PSG.

Haaland and Lewandowski, the favorites to succeed Mbappé

Paris Saint-Germain has announced several times that it wants to extend Kylian Mbappé, but the situation forces the leaders to consider all eventualities, even the worst. From last August 25, we revealed to you on that PSG has two clear tracks to replace Mbappé. The first leads to Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich and the second to Erling Haaland, the prodigy of Borussia Dortmund. The two are however not in end of contract and their respective clubs do not seem really ready to let them go, even if Haaland seems to have a departure clause of € 75m for next summer.

Vlahović, the X factor

This is where Dušan Vlahović comes in. Very efficient with the Fiorentina, this 21-year-old striker has caught the eye of a large number of clubs including Paris Saint-Germain … but especially Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich ! The interest of the two Bundesliga giants would also be directly linked to Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski. Sport BILD has indeed announced that the Borussens would be eyeing Vlahović to compensate for the departure of their Norwegian star. The two players have more or less the same profile and Vlahović could even leave Fiorentina as of the next winter transfer window. Same story for Bayern Munich, since this Wednesday La Gazzetta dello Sport is talking about the Bavarians breaking into the race for the Serbian striker. Here again, Vlahović would be the natural successor of Lewandowski, who would have more and more desires elsewhere.
