After losing Cristiano Ronaldo in 2018, Real Madrid wanted to turn the page and forget about Portuguese. For this, in 2019, the Merengue club spent more than € 100M to poach Eden Hazard from Chelsea . On paper, the operation was promising, but on the ground, the truth was quite different. Due to many injuries the Belgian played very little and when he was on the pitch he was not up to par. A situation of which Real Madrid would now have had enough and divorce would be imminent. In his 3rd season with Real Madrid , Eden Hazard is currently experiencing his last moments with the Merengue.
