The 2022 NHL Draft will take place July 7-8 at the Bell Center in Montreal, Canada.
“We're proud to announce that the NHL Draft will again take place in Montreal, home to the league's first draft in 1963. This is a great place to unite the entire NHL family and focus on the future of our game as clubs name the best promising players from around the world, ”said League Commissioner Gary Bettman.
Note that the league conducted two previous drafts remotely due to the coronavirus pandemic.
