President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpishchev said that Andrei Rublev may not play at the upcoming VTB Kremlin Cup.
– Rublev has a cold, so his participation in the Kremlin Cup is still in question. All players will be in Moscow, they will come and we will decide. Everyone has signed contracts. Rublev wants to play 100 percent, he is the winner of the last tournament. But he caught a cold, plays today in the Masters doubles at Indian Wells. Therefore, it is still impossible to say whether he will get sick or not, – said Tarpishchev.
The Kremlin Cup will be held from 18 to 24 October in Moscow.
