Andrei Rublev successfully started at the tournament in San Diego. The Russian defeated US representative Brandon Nakashim in the second round.
The match lasted just over an hour, during which Rublev filed five times and took six games at the reception.
Rublev will play with the winner in the quarterfinals pairs Lloyd George Harris – Diego Schwartzman.
Note that the Russian is seeded at the tournament with the first number.
