The rebound displayed against the OL during the derby (1-1) was only short-lived. Indeed, the ASSE has relapsed. And how ! The Greens bowed heavily against Strasbourg (1-5) and therefore remain last in the standings. A very worrying situation which weakens the position of Claude Puel who however obtained a reprieve until next Friday and the reception of Angers . However, in the event of further disappointment against the SCO , the ASSE will no longer have a choice and will have to take a radical decision for the future of Claude Puel whose dismissal will have an impact on the finances of the club, already in danger. This is the reason why the Greens could opt for the internal solution. According to the Stéphanois media En Verts et Contre Tous, it is thus Laurent Huard who could succeed Claude Puel . Technical director of the AS Saint-Étienne training center, Huard could therefore be called upon to play the service firefighters in order to avoid a disaster for the ASSE .
